Honey contains lots of good enzymes and really conditions the skin. It also lightens skin, so not only do people use it to lighten pigmention problems. If you choose to use honey, you can directly apply the honey from jar to the entire face, or do the honey and aspirin mask. The honey and aspirin mask really exfoliates.Try not to buy honey which is overly processed. 'Unpasteurized' or 'organic' honey is better than 'pure' honey. Leave it on for as long as you can, or if you dont have time, at least 15 mins.

Oh dear plastering food onto your face is both silly and entirely unhelpful. You could try one of the many over the counter cleanser/degreasers, most are based on peroxide, Panoxyl is a typical example. If this fails the next step is to see your GP for topical or oral antibiotics. Avoid tetracycline and oxytetracyline as they are awkward to take and not very effective, minocycline or lymecycline are better.

GP for more years than I care to remember

There was an article in the Daily Mail on Tuesday 15th February. It was written by a doctors son who had been unable to resolve his acne problem, apparently his brothers also had acne. Apparently there is a new OXY product which contains seaweed and this helped tremendously.

I hear honey is good for cuts so it may be good for you! If this doesn't work you need to get "freederm" gel it worked for me after a few days you can see the difference then after a week or so it cleared up its amazing! Good luck

Blaster,

Not sure about honey. I know that holistic treatment for acne is very successful. I would suggest trying this kind of treatment. It works very well. You should see results in about 48 hours. Good luck to you,

Sara

From sweet sixteen to fabulous forty, acne or blemish is one very frequent problem faced by people of both the sex. A normal, growing blemish-free skin from impurities is desired by everyone. It enhances the personality of an individual and makes him/her feel more confident and presentable. When we notice red boils or break-outs on our face or any other part of our skin we immediately react by squeezing them or breaking them. This leads to either expansion or patches or marks and sometimes causes infection too. Otherwise we tend to consult the dermatologist or use chemical rich creams which frequently pose unwanted effects.

Vitamins A & B are very important for the health of your skin. Vitamin A deficiency can cause acne or blemish etc. Vitamin A will strengthen your skin. Vitamin B is great for acne. The only Vitamin that has an anti-inflammatory effect is Vitamin C. It will help with healing and protect your immune system. A study conducted at Duke University provides evidence that Zinc is an important antioxidant supporting healthy skin. Among the findings: Zinc protects against UV radiation, enhances wound healing, contribute to immune and neuropsychiatric functions, and decrease the relative risk of cancer and cardiovascular disease. So, in addition to the antioxidant benefits Zinc offers to our skin, zinc is also important for the proper functioning of the immune system.
