I am no doctor but i have had a few of these infections. Here's what I did. Drink lots of unsweetened cranberry juice. You can find some at Trader Joes. Lots of water. You need to flush it out. For eating I would try watermelon or leek soup. More brothy soups. 1st thing to do is get it all out of your system.
