i gave a girl oral last week and my tongue has itched nonstop ever since? is this an std or just in my head?

While oral sex is not a serious subject of risk for some very serious infections, other infections that are not life-threatening yet can be annoying i.e. HSV "Herpes" can be transmitted via oral sexual contact.
