What are the tests that somebody need to do if he was diagnosed with throat cancer(stage1)2 years ago?
igo check my throat every 6 months but i 'm scared that cancer could come back in another organ especially my lungs.help please.

Here is the good news.Stage1 has a five year survival of 90-95 %!!! My guess is you are getiing scoped at 6 month intervals but,I would think at some point they might do a PET/CT.These are very good at showing very early cancer in other organs.Since you are stage 1,that means the cancer has not spread to the lymph nodes which is excellant.Continue with your follow up appointments and if you notice anything different about how you feel or any new aches or pains,call your Dr.
