I'm taking ampicillin for my acne and i've had two yeast infections in the last 6 months.?

is this normal? and if so what should i do?

yes it is normal to get frequent yeast infections while taking an antibiotic especially on a regular basis. talk to your dr about prescibing you diflucan to take when it starts. Alot of doctors prescribe a few diflucans to take with antibiotics. i work in a pharmacy and see alot of prescriptions of antibiotics that also include diflucan. it works great and if u get a low dose your may be able to take it on more of a regular basis to possibly prevent them. just ask your doctor what the best dose for you is.
