My sister is 16 years old and my family is concerned for her.
When she was going into 9th grade she began her first minstrel cycle. Ever since then, it hasn't been steady, it always either comes early or 2 or more months late. She's in 11th grade now, so why hasn't it regulated yet?
Another strange thing is that during her period she always goes through EXTREMELY painful cramps. She recently passed out in school from the pain, and nautiousness. But, these aren't the only symptoms she has to deal with. She's constantly throwing up, and she can't seem to lose weight.
During her cramps, we have tried midol and Ibuprufen and aleve, none seem to work. The cramps last hours, and they're so bad that she screams. And she's a very brave girl, not much screaming..EVER.
ALSO, about 3 months or so ago, she discovered a lump in one of her breasts. Its only on one side and she compared it to a little bit smaller than a golf ball.
What could be going on with my sister? Please help. She has a doctors appointment on Tuesday. If you know anything/have any idea what this is please say something, what are the procedures? What will happen to her?

Sounds nothing like cancer.
Could be an ovarian cyst, but most likely just bad periods.
I had them too – it sucks.

Don't worry. Considering her age, it's not likely to be cancer.
Maybe it's just uterine fibroids or endometrial cysts.

This is very normal for a 16 year old. He will probably due a pap test and internal...all standard procedure. The lump in her breast is from her Hormones.
