Question: If a small lump is found in a 15 year old's breast, does this mean she has breast cancer?
I know breast cancer can be inherited but there is no recent record of a family member being diagnosed of breast cancer, and I also know that this illness is very rare for younger people. I found it this morning as I could feel a dull pain just beneath my left areola.
Should I be worrying about this? My parents are at work, should I contact them and tell them about this now? Should they come home and take me to the doctor or should I wait for them to take me? I am so scared about how it could change everyones lives if I do have breast cancer!

Don't panic, a few hours won't make much of a difference so I'd advise you to wait until your parents get home.
There can be multiple causes. Is there both a lump and a pain? Have you noticed the lump before now?
Breasts can become sore sometimes as they grow, and 'hard' parts are normal. Pimples, bruises and a host of other things can make it painful.
Definitely see your doctor, but don't let yourself get upset until then. As you said, breast cancer in teenagers is very uncommon (although not unheard of). You should get it checked promptly, but the likelihood that it is cancer is very low.
No. Definetly Not. Also, breast cancer does not involve pain. So you can stop worrying about that, first. Speak to your parents about going to the doctor, this is just a simple cyst that the doctor can easy your mind about in a matter of 5 minutes.

cancer is a disease that is seen after a long period of time as it works for a long period of time without symptoms. so , i think that's not a breast cancer
No I don't think so. I think you got allergy problem or may be you attached with any insects. Anyway don't worry and if can see a doctor.
Just wait till they get home and see a doctor. There's a high chance it's something else right? Try be optimistic
You are thinking way too much
Could be a cyst. Go and see your GP. Better safe than sorry
Maybe it's a pimple?
