pubic region problem!!?!

okay so i have these well small rash sought of thing just above my penis area (the place where ur pubic hair grows) and i shaved yesterday with a razor and i used water on the surface before shaving today i notice some red rash in that area not much just a little ! what is it ? how can i get rid of it? will it go away soon? i heard its razor rash but i just want to confirm the above questions thancx email me you id if ur not sure of it and want to see pictures or tell me from ur experience!
