Clostridium difficile is a bacteria that commonly causes diarrhea inside hospitals. The disease is called: pseudomembranous cloitis.
Usually the patient is on antibiotics for a while before he develops this problem. The treatment is usually straight forward with few other antibiotics to choose from.
