Is there a way to test for cocaine residue at home? (straw)?!

Question:

Is there a way to test for cocaine residue at home? (straw)?

Answers:

yes there is a test that law enforments do
This test is a tube style which provides an adsorbent pad on the tube end which is used to collect suspected cocaine residues. After swabbing the surface, simply crush the glass tube inside the plastic vial. Cocaine residues are indicated by a blue color. you can buy the test tube things on the internet they run about $10.00

but if your trying to figure out on your own and you dont want to hassel with the test tubing kit then this is what cha do on your own. Basically what you do is take your finger and run it across the area (most likly surface) you suspect there was the use of cocain at. look at your finger and if it white put a tad bit on your tounge to see if it really is. this is the only way to figure out if the residue is cocain. and if you taste a bitter type of windex (glass cleaner) then you have gotten cocain residue.
Another way you can find out if cocain is in use at your home is to look around and see if you can find cut small sized straw or pen peices. sometimes people use dollar bills it cuts the nose up less. if you have found a tool that they might of used then make sure you cut it open with a cut going all the way through it and run your finger on the inside. because if the person is using the same tool for snorting cocain more than once the residue from the drug gets stuck in there.
the last thing i could think of if you are suspecting someone is using cocain is that what ever suface in your house you think they are making lines on go to there and look for unmatching colors on the counter top. because when someone is making lines residue gets into the counter top and they have to scrap it to get what they might of missed. so from scrapping it so much it weathers away the surface.
Also if you suspect they micght be using a cd case look for scuff marks. from them scrapping at it and sometimes you cant get all the residue off of it so the cd case would look foggy.
i hope this helps
