Although the site below is for fibromyalgia mainly, there are many members there that also have ME/CFS. Also there are numerous symptoms of both fibro and me/cfs which do overlap.
You will certainly get an insight there of how we cope with these hidden conditions and how they affect us daily. You will also get lots of support and will probably get pointed to a direct me/cfs support group.
What I will advise is that you pace yourself (much harder than it seems when you are used to being active), even on the 'better' days, do not overdo things. Always stop and rest LONG before you think you need too, and dont feel guilty about NOT being able to do things.
