Question: I'm a dialysis patient who wonders why she is suddenly peeing alot more than usual, why?

I've had kidney failure & have been on dialysis for more than 2&1/2 yrs. Just started peeing alot more last week. Can't figure out why.

Answers:

I don't really know but maybe since your kidneys are being 'rested' due to the dialysis, they are healing themselves a little and starting to work a little better?
That or you may be eating something different which is acting as a diuretic?

Maybe you're drinking more than usual, or eating something that's acting as a diuretic. Or that can sometimes be a sign of a UTI, especially if your urine is cloudy and it stings when you pee.
