Is it safe to clip off with finger nail clippers "clingy" moles?!
Question:
Is it safe to clip off with finger nail clippers "clingy" moles?
Going into middle age I've started getting these non-colored what I call "clingy" moles. It seems all it would take to remove them would be to take a little pain and clip them off - instead of paying a doctor hundreds of dollars to burn them off but, is it safe to do so?

Actually, I've gotten rid of a few of those myself. They're annoying, and I agree - it's worth a little pain to get rid of the suckers. I just clean the area thoroughly with alcohol, and clean a pair of fingernail scissors with plenty of alcohol as well; one snip, and they're gone, after which I clean and bandage them. I've never had any problems, other than a bit of bleeding for a minute or two, and they barely hurt at all.
Another thing you might consider is some of the new wart-removers; a mole is not a wart, of course, but the wart-remover kits use a freezing technique, and I suspect using it on a mole would work just fine.
My method may not be AMA approved, but it works, and it's a heck of a lot cheaper than a visit to my doctor! ;-)
