I feel really sick today. Should I get ready for school *in case* I feel better !

Question: I feel really sick today. Should I get ready for school *in case* I feel better tomorrow?
I have been throwing up since 10:30pm last night and I have done nothing but sleep and throw up until now (I just had a shower). I feel really sick; my whole body hurts and feels heavy and I have a fever.

I live in Canada and today is a national holiday (well actually it's provincial but every province celebrates it) so I wasn't supposed to be at school anyway. Saturday and Sunday I was in Ottawa and not doing my homework because I knew I had today to do it.

What if I felt fine tomorrow and I wasn't ready for school... could I take tomorrow off too (and that way I wouldn't give it to anyone either)?

Answers:

If I were you i would just stay home. I know at my school, you have to wait 24 hours till you feel better just to make sure you aren't sick anymore. Especially if you feel this sick, you shouldn't have to do anything. Just rest up. Hope you feel better.
GET WELL SOON

I wouldn't bother getting ready for tomorrow as you're clearly too sick to get ready. Just take tomorrow off and that way you wont pass it to anyone else. You definitely should rest one more day just to make sure. I hope you feel better soon! It sucks so much to be sick.

That's a slippery slope you're on. It is true that sometimes, in order to prevent spreading, say, a noro virus to someone else, one should take an extra day off - but you should still prepare for tomorrow, just in case.
