Question: What really causes cancer?

Every day l hear something new that causes cancer. We know that drinking alcohol, smoking and being over weight may increase the chances. Now lm hearing drinking lemonade, oral sex and eating red meat. When they explain it , some of it makes sense but its just so frightening. Soon crossing the road will cause cancer...is there any hope for us?

You dont hear about things 'causing' cancer. You hear that these things increase your chances of getting cancer.

They dont cause it.

I suppose crossing the road already does increase your chances of getting cancer...the cars all about and their fumes..
