What could be making my eyelids itchy and dry? They are not red, but just horrib!

Question: What could be making my eyelids itchy and dry? They are not red, but just horribly dry and I do use eye?

cream every day. I never had this problem before because I was always oily -skinned. I am in my 50's, but it is like it came out of nowhere. There are days my lids might even be a little puffy...any ideas?

when you wake up with puffy eyelids, first thing to do is wash your face with cold water, pass cold water around your eyes DO NOT apply cream before. Just let the cold act before, then you can put your daily cream.

possibly you're having some reaction due to weather changes or too much exposure to air conditioner? Does it itch?

i'm sure about this last one, but it's a possibility

maybe its the season? My eye lids get really dry in the winter cause where i live it gets REALLY dry and i have very sensitive skin. I have found that the lotion cetaphil helps a lot.
