Question: I have a bump under my earlobe?

okay so i have noticed a bump that has formed right where my earlobe attaches to my chin/face, it hasn't really bothered me, but if i touch it its hard it feels like a hard bump, if i squeeze it yea duh it hurts, but its a weird kind of hurt that i cant explain and the feeling will linger for a few seconds, and this morning my sister noticed that it was 'purple?' so i looked in the mirror and it was, its like a light-ish purple, so i showed my mom and she's like oh maybe its an assist or a zit or something so she tried to pop it haha yea that didn't work it just hurt, then she's like okay yea im not sure....

does anyone know what this might be?

Sounds like a zit, which can sometimes be hard like cysts. If it looks like one, it probably is. It may have turned purple from being squeezed repeatedly. I've gotten them in the same spot before and had the same thing happen. When they're cystic like that, squeezing only makes it hurt and look worse. Check it in the mirror everyday, but don't squeeze. When it starts to come to a head (you'll probably see a white dot under the skin), pop it and it will scab over and heal in a couple of days.
