Is it possible to be allergic to pistachios but not to all other kinds of nuts?
i ate pistachios today and i started talking funny, my doctor said he thinks its allergies but he thought it was pollen but i realized it only happenes when i eat pistachios, so i am wondering if it is possible to be allergic to pistachios but not to the other kind of nuts, cause i eat cashews and everything else but i don't react. Help please, cause i have to know if it is pistachios or not.

Are you sure no other nuts? They always differentiate between tree nuts and regular nuts (I think only peanuts aren't tree nuts).
But here's a thought: When I was young a doctor suggested that my reaction to nuts could be because they grow in a shell. Inside that shell it gets moist and mold grows. Now the other nuts that you are eating may be all cleaned up and lightly salted or whatever. But usually pistacchios you are eating them right out of the shell. So maybe you are actually having a reaction to the mold that has grown inside the shell and not the actual nut itself.
