Would you be able to tell if your bladder was getting close to busting?
Would you feel any pain like an hour before it was about to burst or an urge to pee? I have urinary retention i was wondering pls help i feel like i have to pee a lil but its not a strong urge just a light little sprinkle piss but it wont come out because of the retention i think its temporary because i am on TRAMADOL which is an opiate and mild SSRI please tell me if this is why this is happenin help!

I have a neurogenic (nerve damaged) bladder. Your bladder will not bust and if you are urinating small amounts that is called overflow if your bladder has reached it's maximum. Bladder can hold copious amounts of urine. Mine has held as much as 1600 cc's at a time. Have you been to a Dr. for this? Are you male or female? Maybe you have a UTI???
There is a disease also that is just now becoming a hot topic in the medical field. It is Interstitial Cystitis.
It cause several bathroom trips with little result. I have that as well. For me, Benadryl helps and the dr. gave me Urispas and Vicodin for my condition. I hope you are seeing a Urologist for this. It's very painful, I know. Take care.
