What causes one to develop a small bump under the eyelid?


Answers:

Could be a stopped up hair follicle (as in eyelash). Could be a cyst of some sort. Could be the beginning of a stye or other infection. You really didn't give enough information. For example, is it a painful bump? Is it red or inflammed? Does it have pus in it like a pimple?
