What are some signs that your allergic to a cat?
I have had cats all my life and am wondering if I am allergic to the new cat we got because my eyes get itchy when I pet him. Is it possible to get cat allergies later in life? Or could it be his hair?
Answers:
You can develop allergies at any time. I had a cat my whole childhood life until I was about 14 years old and I never had allergies. I could also go outside during the springtime and eat anything I wanted.
By the time I turned 23, I developed a serious case of hay fever and was extremely allergic to ragweed, and birch tree pollen.
at 24, I started becoming allergic to apples (yes, apples) and peaches.
at 27 I became extremely allergic to cats - all cats.. and some long haired dogs.
Very annoying...
