Ringworm help?
3 weeks ago i found a quarter sized circle with raised edges on my shoulder, then a week later i went to a dermatologist and he scraped some off for testing. then i had to come back 2 weeks after which is now today to see him.during those 2 weeks, the redness greatly went down and sometimes barely visable then 3 days earlier, i went outside and got sunburn on my back and shoulders and now the circle looks really big now. well today i found out that it is ringworm. and he gave me cream to put on twice a day. anyways, how long would it take for the ringworm to go away since i had it for 3 weeks untreated. by theway, the ringworm never itched or hurt and was scaly.

It goes away gradually in about a week or so. Be sure to clean your home to get rid of spores that can cause re-infestation and wash sheets and pillow cases daily where you sleep. Also, I know when I had it I got it from my cat. If you have cats that have bald patches then it could be ringworm and they need to be treated with anti fungal shampoo as well.
