does alcohol pads get rid of zits?!

Question: Does alcohol pads get rid of zits?
okay so i have been informed that alcohol pads get rid of zits is that true?

Answers:

alcohol pads dry out your face.

Your body NEEDS its natural oils, it cannot run normally without them. If you use alcohol on your face you are ridding your body of its natural oil and your acne may get worse, your body will over compensate for the lack of oil and over produce it.

Personally I have tried alcohol pads, they sting, and are painful. I have really sensitive skin, if i used it for more than two days my skin dried up, and painfully peeled off.

I have tried everything there is to try, even natural stuff like origins, and 'say yes to carrots' they are expensive and don't work. I have tried soaps for sensative skin like aveeno foam cleanser, and even tried proactive which made me way worse.

In the winter I get dry skin around my mouth, but around my nose is oily at times.

I found what works, it took about 3 months but I am now 100% clear.

It sounds dumb but this is what I do...

1. You need NEED to wash your face twice a day. As soon as you wake up, and right before you go to bed. It needs to happen, it doesn't matter how tired you are. You need to do it.

If you don't wash your face before you go to bed, the oils that you have collected during the day are going to rub off on your pillowcase and you will be literally mushing it into your face all night as you sleep. So wash your face!

2. You need to use moisturizer, whoever said you need to use toner is wrong, all it does is dry out your skin! your killing all the natural stuff in your face, stop. Use a FACE moisturizer not a BODY

I bought this stuff called "Lumene Sensitive Touch" I have really sentative skin i mean really sensitive ... if my boyfriend puts his beard to my face i get a rash!... and this stuff is a godsend!! Its bout 15 dollars and comes in a small light blue tub (you can find it at CVS) it doesn't seem like a lot but it has lasted me over a year, a little goes a really long way.

It may sound funny and stupid, but I use Dove Moisturizing soap for my face. I know... I know.. BUT hear me out! Ive used everything, proactive (scam) clearasil (burns my face off) and everything in between even aveeno foam for sensitive skin. Nothing helped..... Nothing

I started using normal dove soap moisturizing so it didn't over dry my face, and dried my face with a towel completely. Once I did I immediately put on the moisturizer just a small amount is all you need.

3. You need NEED to wash your pillowcase and your sheets once a week! every night flip your pillow over

If you don't have one i recommend getting a loofah (cvs pad loofah for a dollar) not the ones you pour body wash into. A literal loofah sponge. I actually use it even on my sensitive face..

I used to break out on my forehead, my chest, my cheeks and my chin. Nothing helped and it was painful.

And if you have a deep pimple one that REALLY HURTS, do NOT try to pop it. Take a face cloth and dunk it in hot (yet bearable) water, ring it out and put on the part of your face, keep dunking and placing for about 5 straight minutes, it may take a day or two but it will rise to the surface and become a white head, do not use fingers to pop, use two cotton balls on either side and pop squeeze out as much as possible but be gentle. Your face may puss after this, make sure to blot the spot to soak up any excess that comes out, it will dry up on its own.

Just take care of your skin! Drink lots of water! wash your face and your pillowcase and sheets.

OH! and PS. Try as hard as you can to NOT touch your face with your hands during the day. Everything you touch will end up on your face, just avoid touching your face. Wash your hands Before you wash your face!..

ok im done hope it helps
