Cancer specialists, and doctors, please help serious question?!!?!

Question: Cancer specialists, and doctors, please help serious question?!!?
Ok so im going to give all my stats a guess you can say, so ever since i was little ive always had problems with constipation, and all this other stuff, can you please tell me if i have colon cancer?

Sex: Male
Age:14
Height:5'9
Weight:147 pounds
Diet:Anything that tastes good, lots of junk food, but if my mom makes veggies with dinner, i will eat them
Water intake: Ehhh i prefer other drinks that have flavor but i drink a cup or two a day
Current medications: Vyvance 30mg
Exercise time per day: Meh, i have gym class every day, and i will particapate, but other than that, not really
My mom: She is extremely lactose intolerant
My Dad: Not lactose, but is overweight and diabetic (hereditary)

I have NEVER had a solid black stool before, but i have had it dark brown, I sometimes will have bright red blood on it, but i think thats because its large and hard. I now go every day, and it has been softer lately which is good, but i do get stomach aches almost every day for the past week. What is wrong with me?

Answers:

You don't have colon cancer.

Keep in mind colon cancer is a very slow acting disease. It usually takes between 10-20 years from when it starts to grow, before it's at the deadliest stage. This really already rules out you have it because you wouldn't be noticing significant symptoms until it had progressed to a much later point, and little kids just don't get this stuff. Also you'll usually be bleeding out so slowly over the course of the disease, so you probably would be very anemic right now if you had been bleeding out over your lifetime.

You're right, the blood you see sometimes on large and hard stool is because it most likely tore at your anus while straining. Sometimes really dry stool is dark brown.

Your stomach aches could be from a lot of things.

I took Vyvanse for a short stint a few years back, and I would have a stomach ache every day because It would suppress my appetite all day and then crash about when I got home from school.

It could be that, or gas, you eat a lot of junk food so it's pretty normal to be bloated and icky if your're constantly eating a lot of greasy and bad stuff. It also could be stress.

Don't worry. You should try to eat better and exercise a bit more, but you don't have colon cancer.

The information you provide gives no evidence or even the suggestion of a colorectal carcinoma - which would be exceedingly rare in a 14 year old anyway. Please do not expect to be diagnosed over the internet. This does not replace a complete medical history and careful physical examination.
