Question: I Cant take a full deep breath for some reason?

I don't understand I went to get checked for asthma I dnt have it. When i try to take a deep breath I get almost there and then it doesn't go full. I try to clear my throat, nothing.... I try to force my self to burp, ikno it's gross, but when I do that it feels like there's a lump in my throat, I don't kno if it because I have a cold at the moment, though I even have it when I'm not sick, could it be anxiety if do how do I cure it, I have my first rugby tryout and were going for a long run, so I'm nervous this may interfere.

Possibly Globus Hystericus? When I was 9 years old I started feeling this lump in my throat sensation and went through the same tests. They found I had a chemical imbalance that was causing me to feel this anxiety symptom without really having "anxiety" (as I was 9 years old). Look it up and see if it sounds like you. I am just on antianxiety medication and it helps a great deal!

Alright I was in the same situation as you once. And no I don't have asthma either. But listen when it happened to me I went to the doctor and they ran tests (yours might not be as bad as mine was.) But when they came back they told me I had bronchitis. Which is a infection in your lungs and mucus starts to build up in your lungs. That could be what's wrong with you. Then again maybe not. got to the doctor if you are worried or it gets worse

Funny so many people on here swear they don't have asthma and yet the symptoms they describe are of asthma. I mean these questions are so similar and then they want to blame it on anxiety.

So, I'll just say I think it sounds an awful lot like asthma :)

PNEUMONIA! Or crack addiction...both are viable options. Get to a doctor bro!
