how to eat glucose tablets ?!

Question: How to eat glucose tablets ?
so i've got a pack of lucozade orange gucose tablets an how the hell are you supposed to have them when i just put it in my mouth it tastes awkward so am i meant to mix it with something ?

Answers:

you just suck or chew them but i agree they do have a strange chalky texture to them. if you cant stand them which a lot of people don't then try having 150ml of lucozade drink or 200ml of fresh orange or apple juice and this will work just as good if not better as it is more quickly absorbed.

Yup, please only use those glucose tablets only when you feel faint from having low blood sugar.

Chew and then swallow the tablets (please read the instructions, because I don't know how many tablets you are supposed to take each time) when you feel faint. Wait for 15 minutes. If you still feel faint, take another dose of those glucose tablets and wait for 15 minutes. Repeat the procedure up to a maximum of 3 doses consecutively. If you still feel faint from the 3rd dose, see a doctor immediately.

NO you just put them in your mouth and eat, they are horrible. I've found some that are a bit better, Gluco Tabs, you can get them at Boots, Asda or online, the have a few different flavours and aren't as dry as most of the others. They are chewable. I wouldn't say they're nice but they do the trick.

Chew them up and swallow. I try to have a drink of water when I have to eat them.

DON'T eat them unless you're actually having a low blood sugar episode.

Just chew or swallow, why ask?
