I have Ehlers Danlos-Did my tailbone subluxate?!

Question: I have Ehlers Danlos-Did my tailbone subluxate?
I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and I'm 13. My joints subluxate all the time, and I was wondering if your tailbone can subluxate. My tailbone hurts so much, like when I stand up. I'll be sitting down for 10 seconds, and when I stand up, I feel like someone is stabbing me in the tailbone. It's not only when I stand up, though. It feels like when my other joints subluxate. It hurts when I run or stand or sit or anything! Please only answer if you have EDS, are familiar with it, or you are a doctor. Thanks! :)

I have EDS too :)
Yes you can sublux your tailbone. Did you do anything to injure it lately? Once it happens once, I find that my joints will keep dislocating/subluxing until it's healed. It could also be that you injured your lower back? I think if it was your tailbone subluxing then you'd have more pain whilst sitting than when standing since that's when the joint would be moving out of place. Either way, there isn't a lot that a doctor could do to help you I'm afraid :( Take some painkillers and ice it if you feel that it will help and just take it easy for a few days :)
