what is diabetes ?????????!

diabetes is when one's pancreas does not produce insulin or not enough of insulin because either one is overweight and unhealthy(type 2) or because one's own immune system is attacking the inlet cells(they make the insulin) and destroying them therefore there is no insulin for ones body to use. Insulin controls blood sugar levels and helps turn sugar into fat and store it on the body that's why people lose a lot of weight when they are first diagnosed(type 1) that's a very basic definition it takes a long time to understand what diabetes is so hope this helped :)
