Does Claratin Mess You Up?
I am taking Claratin to clear my congestion and cough. Yesterday I took it and these were the symptoms:
Numbness and tingling in my arms and neck
Shakiness
Racing heart/unable to sleep
Staring off into space
It felt like I was drunk.
So do you get these symptoms when you take Claratin?

Yes I do. I have allergies, and I took Claritin. I had basically the same symptoms as you. Some people get very severe side effects, heart problems, maybe even heart attacks. (very rare, though) The drug in Claritin is usually not effective. Apparently, the majority of us will never get "Claritin Clear."
