What is worse for you smoking cigarettes or chew tobacco?!

Question: What is worse for you smoking cigarettes or chew tobacco?
Answers:

Smoking cigarettes is associated with a greater number of malignancies and more different types of tobacco related cancers. If you were my family member, I would much rather that you chewed. That is the only way my father was able to quit cigarettes. I looked on almost all of my patients as family members. Chewing was a lesser risk. We cannot ask people to be perfect all of the time.

Depends on how much and how often. Smoking can give you lung cancer if you do it long enough (other factors can contribute as well) and lung cancer is very hard to cure, especially in the later stages. On the other hand, chewing tobacco can lead to several types of cancer, particularly, ORL (otorhinolaryngeal) types aka: head and neck. Your teeth can fall out, your jaw can "drop off", your gums may recede and the chemicals can enter your bloodstream through your gum tissues and spread to other areas of your body, taking carcinogens (cancer causing agents) with them.

Chewing tobacco is the worst as it causes mouth cancer but smoking cigarettes give you a higher chance of getting lung cancer. Several years ago there was an American Chewing Tobacco company in the UK but after a few years they found that chewing tobacco was the cause of mouth cancer so the company was closed in the UK but they haven't closed the cigarette companies.? That give you the answer then?

Tobacco still gets into your blood stream, even if you chew it. While you aren't getting smoke in your long, toxic materials are still going through your bloodstream where it could eventually lead to mutation anywhere (though your tongue and mouth are the first likely areas). Both are equally bad, IMO.

smoking most definitely as chewing tobacco does not damage the lung tissue.

They're both bad for you, but smoking can cause cancer in more areas through out your body. Cigarettes also have worse side effects, like infertility.
