about two months ago, i got pneumonia. i live in pittsburgh, so it is very cold, snowy, rainy, wet, etc. in the winter. yesterday, i got back from a vacation of going to hawaii. it was 70 degrees and sunny but when i was coming home i started to get sick. now, i'm wheezing, coughing, and have all the signs of a cold. could i have gotten pneumonia... again? thanks.

Hi, I live in Pgh as well and have been wondering the exact same thing today. I have been sick for about a week. My chest hurts and I have a fever. I also had pneumonia. I am really contemplating if I should go to the Care CLinic at Shadyside Hospital or wait until tomorrow. I have been dragging my feet because I don't want to overreact in case it is just a cold.
From what I have been told, after having pneumonia you are much more susceptible to having it again. So, we both might.
