Guttate Psoriasis help please! Is it healing?!

Question: Guttate Psoriasis help please! Is it healing?
i'm a 21 year old first time sufferer of Guttate psoriasis.

i was put on antibiotics, and steroid creams and it improved greatly after 2 weeks but has been stuck at a stage where it is NO LONGER itchy or red, the spots are just very visable and purple all over - EXACTLY like tiny bruises lol.

This stage has not changed at all in 6 months now.

Are they healing ? and if so how much longer will i have to wait? :( it's been 6 months. Or are they scars and will look like this forever?

I've heard of people having pigmintation problems after Guttate P becasue of the spots, and i'm really hoping so much that this isn't the case.

Can anyone else confirm they went through this stage? and if so, did it dissapear?

Thank you

Answers:

yes they do fade eventually have you never been offered light treatment? its good for that type of psoriasis but can be time consuming did this come on after a bout of tonsilitis? mine did at the age of 35 and im 43 now everytime i get tonsilitis i get guttate and it gets worse everytime its been six months since my last tonsilitis and ive still got spots on my legs but it has cleared everywhere else im currently on light treatment so hopefully that will get rid of the stubborn psoriasis on my legs

There's no need to worry about being perfect anymore. It turns out that no one is at www.perfectlynot.com
