Answers:
Nope never had, nor have my children or my Granddaughter.
My mother thought soap was for washing your body-not eating it, and passed that theory on to me.
I'm in my 50's, and I vividly remember in pre-school getting my mouth washed out with soap by my teacher because I was playing a game of spit with another kid. I never played that game again.
I got my mouth washed by my mom because I screamed ****...
