Are you on the combined Glucophage and Metformin (one Pill)?

My husbands Dr. prescribed these two in one pill and it went up a level on the insurance and he was having to pay a higher copay. After calling the Pharmacist and pointing out that if they were seperated as the two started out, He checked into it and was amazed, now WE PAY NOTHING FOR EITHER PRESCRIPTION. HURRAH.

Just a little information for you diabetics that might work for you in saving $$$$'s.

Answers:

Instead of Glucophage you may be referring to glyberide. Otherwise this doens't make sense.
