Acne everywhere! Help!?!

Question: Acne everywhere! Help!?
About three months ago I got a lot of tiny red bumps on my forehead and they started multiplying. I used Clean and Clear, but my face got red after I used it so I switched to clearisil and it did the same thing. Since then I've been using LOC and it's worked okay. It cleared it up a little then it started spreading again. Now I have a lot of pimples all over my face! I've used products like Biene, Clinique, ect but nothing works! What's causing my acne? Stress? What I eat? Please help!

Answers:

Wash your face twice a day with warm water and a good face wash.
You can buy good face washes just about anywhere, they're not too exspensive.
I recommend a wash with salicylic acid. It will work just fine with less irritation.
* Benzoyl Peroxide is also effective at treating acne, but in my experience it causes a lot of dryness and redness.

After you wash, make sure you moisturize your skin within 5 minutes.
* It's important to use a non-comedogenic lotion. These kind of lotions do not irritate the skin.
* Keeping your face moisturized will reduce dryness and your face will be less oily. It's very important.

Never touch your face or pop your pimples. Popping them will only make them worse, and they'll spread.
- If you must pop them, wipe your face immediately after with alcohol. This will kill the bacteria so they won't spread.
* Alcohol will dry your face out really fast so I wouldn't do this very often.

*Lemon Juice is used as a homeopathic treatment for acne. Lemon juice also contains one of the AHAs or Alpha Hydroxy Acids and can be used to slough off dead skin, promoting skin elasticity, and enabling new skin cell growth rise from underneath.

Keep your pillow cases clean. Wash them often. Once a week if possible.

This isn't a one time thing, you have to continue this over time to see a difference. Once you get in the routine it will become natural and your face will be flawless!

*** Products I use..

1.) Clean&Clear - Advantage (3 in 1 foaming face wash)
2.) Clean&Clear - Advantage (Acne control moisturizer)
3.) CeraVe moisturizing face wash and lotion
4.) Neutrogena ( On The Spot)
5.) Stridex pads (Sensitive)

- I use 1 in the shower, and sometimes before bed.
- I use 2 before bed on most night.
- I use 3 in the morning to make my face look nice. The lotion won't make your face look oily.
- I use 4 when I see a breakout starting.
- I use 5 when I get home from school, and randomly when I feel like my face is dirty.

Facial Acne is caused by hormonal imbalance, lack or cleanliness, and foods that create high toxicity levels. Bacteria on the epidermis just makes it worse. Start by eliminating all makeup except lips/eyes; wash your face and other affected areas four times a day with mineral soap and water and try and keep your hands off your face as much as possible. Then research/remove all the 'take aways' from your lifestyle and begin adding them back in several-week increments to see which ones are problems for you. These include all processed foods, preservatives, additives, processed dairy, high fat [you can find these listed in any good Acne site] and adjust your diet to include high levels of hydration/fruits/vegetables. All the experts agree that there are good solutions now that do not require expensive drugs and harsh chemicals. Avoid the 'home remedy' type solutons; the only ones that work are simply anti-biotic. Also, don't look for an overnight solution...acne involves complex body chemistry issues and its solution is a process; not an event. The bottom line is this: learn about acne and find out what foods and lifestyle changes work for you not against you. Best of luck...Arlan.

Eating healthier, drinking a good amount of water, and using a good product will help your skin. I used Acutane which I don't recommend. It's really only for people with severe acne, which is what I had. But now after going on it for about 6 months twice almost all my acne is gone. Like i said thought, I don't recommend that. It's the strongest acne medication and it has a bunch of side effects. Having really dry skin is one side effect that happens to almost everyone that goes on it. And there's others like......death....bunch of stuff. Though they just put those on there to protect themselves in case something happens.

Sea salt is the miracle answer. I bathe in sea salt a few times a week b/c I have acne on my back and chest. It's honestly the miracle cure. You could probably just wash your face with it and use it as an exfoliator. Dead sea salt is better. It is from the dead sea which has tons of minerals in it. It is claimed to cure almost all skin problems. If you can, leave the salt on your face for a couple minutes but keep massaging it so it doesn't irritate the skin more. Sea salt also tames down inflamation and redness of breakouts. You could also add a little Epsom salt if you want.

Experience. My acne cleared up quickly.

Heh wow I also have the exact same stubborn acne problem except its also on my back, my face, and my scalp. I pretty much found good products to get rid of them and the face wash I use is called "A.C. Care". This face wash isn't really well known cause it came from Korea but damn this works good. First try my face looked a lot smoother and cleaner and my acne eased up. I got this face wash from my sister and she said she bought it from Palace Beauty.
Another thing, try washing your face often like 2 or 3 times a day. After you wash your face do NOT touch your face. Even if you washed your hands with soap do NOT touch your face. lol

Here are some tips:

Drink a lot of water! You probably read or have been told that water is important to your skin and health, you can't imagine how true that is. Make sure you drink enough water every day to keep your skin more healthy and acne free.

Eat lots of cucumbers - add them to your daily diet. You can add cucumbers to salads, or eat them fresh. Cucumbers can actually help you prevent acne.

Pan Oxyl Wash - 5% Benzoyl Peroxide.
I've used it for a month now, and I barely have any pimples using it. It's
quite expensive, $30 but totally worth getting though!

Benzoyl Peroxide is the best ingredient getting rid of acne. As told by Dr. Oz (seen that show?)

Hello!
I have to say I have tried almost everything to get rid of acne: Creams, strips, cleaning, and all type of home made remedies, and nothing really helped to definitely get read of acne nor blackheads. I have to say that certain things that helped partially:

- Change your diet and include plenty of nutrition rich foods like fish, diary products, fruits and greens. The Omega-3 and Omega-6 present in the foods helps clear the pores of the skin and remove the secretions and dust thereby allows the skin to breath and glow.

- The biggest enemy of your face is the oily skin which gives rise to Acne formation. Therefore it should be your endeavor to always keep your face free of oil and secretions

BUT it wasn’t, until a friend of mine told me how she solved her acne problem. At first sight her solution looked like one of this promises books out there about how to solve your acne problem.

As the method was 100% back guaranteed, I thought I had nothing to lose. What I didn’t know it was how much I had to win with it with the step- by-step solution I got! (They say it is based on a 7 year period of trial and error). Not only did I get rid of blackheads and breakouts, but in 7 weeks I was able to get my acne cured permanently!

1 and half years later my skin has never looked better. For me it was really worth it the try.

Best of lucks!
