Heart flutters fast, then slow, and hard to breathe?!

Question: Heart flutters fast, then slow, and hard to breathe?
I am 15 years old & healthy. Right now, I feel a little shaky, and my heart beats fast one second, and then the next, it's back to beating normal. And there's a tightness in my chest. it's a little hard for me to get the right amount of air in my body. I don't think i'm having a heart attack, considering I am only 15, and healthy. And I get this a few times a month. And my left arm doesn't hurt or whatever. My chest also doesn't hurt, just a tight feeling. And it sort of feels like I have to cough, but when I do, it still feels the same afterwards.
I should include that I am indeed a hypercondriac. So if I notice something weird about my body, I start to worry, which only makes things worse. Could I be freaking myself out, or something? Please help!

You should get yourself to a doctor and get checked out. Just because you're 15 years old means nothing.

I'm like you. When I read or hear anything about certain health symptoms I swear I have that disease or might have it.LOL.

What it sounds like is you are having panic attacks which comes from anxiety. Panic attacks makes you think you are having a heart attack and is very scary...I know I have had them.

When I first had one I thought I was going to die. Out of nowhere my heart started beating fast...I could actually hear it beating. My eyes got blurry, I felt a weakness going through my body and I felt like I couldn't catch my breath. I was petrified and had my SO take me to ER.

While in the ER they gave me a saline solution drip had me rest for a couple of hours and I was back to normal. Believe it or not a panic attack WILL NOT harm you. I couldn't believe it either because it felt so scary but the doctor said panic attacks were harmless. It's the offshoot of something else going on in your body. I have high blood pressure due to hypertension and that is why I have panic attacks.

My blood pressure spikes high for no reason at times and then I have a panic attack. I know how to deal with it now so it's not scary to me anymore but I'm still working on why my blood pressure spikes for no reason.

Make sure you get to a doctor and tell him/her exactly what you told us so they can give you a thorough examination and take tests to find out what is going on with you. It could be a panic attack or something else. Play is safe and get yourself checked out.

Good luck.
