Basal Cell Carcinoma?!

Question:

Basal Cell Carcinoma?

I've had this scab on the end of my nose for over a week that peels, bleeds, and forms another scab. I've never had anything last this long, and I'm worried. I've also found some shiny red bumps on my foot that have been there for a month. Could this be Basal Cell Carcinoma? Does anyone else have it, or have any thoughts?

Answers:

Yesterday I had "Basal Cell Carcinoma" removed by surgery. It was on my shoulder. It was a small spot...about the size of a pencil eraser. I went to the dermatologist for another spot on my face...but the doctor checked me out all over my body and he is the one that noticed the spot on my shoulder! I remember some months ago I saw a scab on my shoulder. I thought that I had scratched it on something and made a sore. But I was wrong! Although the spot was small....the surgical spot is 2 inches long and the doctor closed it with internal stitches ...and 9 staples on the outside. This treatment is 94% effective. I could have chosen a different treatment like freezing it....but the doctor told me it is less effective. Basal Cell Carcinoma may appear to be small on the surface of the skin but it can go deep and wide underneath and if it is left untreated it will continue to grow and eventually damage bone and muscle. Is there a way I can attach a picture of it? I would love for you to see it ...so you will take it seriously and go see a doctor.

Ok..here is my picture of my shoulder after the surgery.
