What can cause awful sensation in left side? Are there any neurological disorders that can cause this?
For years now I have had this awful sensation down my whole left side when I go to bed at night or when I sit down to watch tv. It is driving me crazy as nobody seems to know what can be causing it. The only thing to relieve it is if I lay on my side to deaden my arm and leg, but this only temporarily relieves the problem. It is not a numbness or a pain, just a terrible feeling that is almost like a dull current of electricity. What could it be? Not sure if it is related, but also occasionally get a blank-numb feeling in the back of my head as if i am going to pass out, but don't.

have u spoken to a dr? it's does sound nuerological, especially considering your faintiness. I would demand that ur dr do a CT scan of your head and spinal column, even if it's been done b4, things can change over that time and something that he couldn't see b4 he might see now. don't give up and make ur dr listen and act. you have to hound them sometimes to get them to take you seriously and not just blow it off till the non-existant later. good luck.
