My son keeps having scabs on scalp tried everything nothing seems to work?
we have tried selsun blue, the doc says scabies but scabies do not live in the hair? and their is no lice no dry flakes no bumps nothing but the scabs and the itching and some times his back will itch he is 2 yrs old

After I had my son, my scalp began to develop scabs as well. I went to my dr. and she said it was psoriasis. Btw, psoriasis needs specific tar shampoos to make it go away. I tried all the dandruff shampoos and not one made any difference.
I would bring your son to a dermatologist, as they specialize in skin disorders. Many general practitioners just don't have the knowledge necessary to diagnose many conditions.
