Question: Gardasil shots, I didn't have all of them?
in Spring/summer 2008 I had a Gardasil shot, and I'm pretty sure I had the 2nd shot as well.. (I didn't finish getting the 3 shots because I moved away, and have not been to my old doctor since 2008). Now It's 2011, and I'm just wondering... what happens if I don't have all 3 shots of Gardasil? Am I still protected against HPV?
I'm don't recall if I had only 1 shot, or if I had 2. I know for sure that I did not have the 3rd shot. I'm asking because I have been having bloody discharge for a week and I googled it and HPV cancer was a cause for bloody discharge.

Answers:
You are not protected unless you receive all 3 injections before you are exposed to HPV.
There is no such thing as “HPV cancer”.
HPV is a virus just about everyone has.
Cancer is cancer.
You cannot Goggle symptoms and expect a diagnosis.

There are three shots because two aren't enough.
Go ask a doctor.
