Fatigue and difficulty concentrating associated w/ eyes?!

Question:

Fatigue and difficulty concentrating associated w/ eyes?

I have many symptoms, mainly fatigue, brain fogginess, and difficulty concentrating. These are all symptoms of hypothyroidism, but my tests came back negative.

Could any of these be caused by a problem with my eyes, for example? I'm just throwing ideas out there, because I have no idea what's wrong with me.

I don't know if this means anything, but I also feel this pressure/stress above my forehead, at the front of my head.

-Thanks...just killing time till I meet with my doctor.

[ EDIT ] - Right now, I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a link between these symptoms and any eye disorders...

Answers:

What TSH range is your doctor using? The new standard range is 0.3 to 3.04 (old one was 0.5 to 5.0). So if your TSH was 3.5 or 4.0, your doctor would consider it normal if he were using the old range. Find out what your TSH was. You may still be hypothyroid especially since you are having all the symptoms.

Your problem with your eyes is one I share. My forehead and eyes feel like I just finished driving 10 hours. Very strained and stressed muscles around the eyes. My tsh is 3.2 and I still have all the hypothyroid symptoms and my doctor says I'm normal!!
