Is it normal for so many moles to appear at once?!

Question: Is it normal for so many moles to appear at once?
Hi,

I recently had an acne breakout (the first one in 2 or 3 years!), and I'm not sure if it is related to this, but I also have had about 8 little black moles appear on the left side of my face. They are pretty spread out around my cheek/chin/mouth area.

I have another mole which has been there for a couple of years, it's been growing and itching (I got it checked out by a dermatologist and he said it was okay) but this is also on my left cheek, so now I'm starting to wonder if this mole breakout is actually normal... 8 moles in the space of a few weeks?

I don't sunbathe or go outside much at all, and I am slightly darker skinned (not black, I'm mixed race irish/indian) so I do have a few moles anyway, but this just seems a bit excessive.

Any advice on this would be much appreciated, I don't really want to bother my doctor again about moles! :)

Answers:

You are fine Jennifer. Getting many moles at once is fairly common, and yours sound perfectly normal.

One of the better home remedies to remove them is buy dandelion from the grocery store produce section. Rub the dandelion root on the mole covering them with the white juice that is inside the root. Do that three times a day until the mole disappears. It shouldn't take long.
