A few questions about Raynauds?!

Question: A few questions about Raynauds?

I seen my Dr the other day and she told me that I need to schedule another appointment with another Dr. Because she thought I may have Raynauds because my fingers and toes were purple and I told her it was a normal thing for me.

So my questions are:

1. What kinda testing is involved in finding out if a person has Raynauds?

2. If a person has Raynauds what is the treatment like?

3. What exactly is Raynauds?

4. What pain is associated with Raynauds?

5. And I heard that Raynauds may cause scar tissue? Where would this scar tissue be? Only in the extremities?

Answers:

I have Raynauds, although its not a severe case. My doctor said i could go on medication for it, but if i did then i'd be on it for the rest of my life. And i didnt want that as it was managable.
I find stress or having something on my mind provokes it, and obviously cold weather. However i even get it in summer. Why dont you try some herbal supplements instead, i've heard Ginko Biloba (spell?) is good for circulation. I`ve never heard of Raynauds causing scar tissue, unless it was a really bad case?
