i am deaf in my left ear but i can hear out of my right! ppl tell me i should get SSI for it! (Social Soceity Income)

Answers:

No! To be considered disabled by SS, you must have a qualifying condition that has lasted at least a year, and is expected to get worse. You also must be not be able to work, in any capacity, due to the condition. Being deaf in one ear doesn't even come close, being blind in one eye, doesn't either. Thinking it is easy and fun on SS is a crock, and you should be more interested in working than collecting money for something that has no serious effect on your job skills.
