What is Anemia?!

Question:

What is Anemia?

What causes Anemia and How can it be treated?

Answers:

Anaemia is a disease caused by iron deficiency. You can lose too many red blood cells and haemoglobin, which is the iron-containing protein attached to red blood cells, by bleeding or not eating enough iron-containing foods. Haemoglobin transports oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body and iron is needed to make it. Fatigue is one of the major symptoms.

Treatments are to eat more iron-containing foods, or take iron tablets that can provide iron for your body.

Hope this helps!
