Is this too much carbohydrates and sugar for one day?!

Question: Is this too much carbohydrates and sugar for one day?
A chocolate bar, three slices of pizza, three small slices of cheese bread, and a plate full of pasta with sauce. And the pasta will be put on a big plate. How can I avoid that much carbohydrates? It was my mom's idea for the pasta. I might have a small cup of fruit later also. I am not diabetic either. I already had the chocolate, pizza, and bread.

And will a lot of exercise help out also? I'm planning on at least one hour of exercise.

Answers:

OK, let's break it down. A 3.5 oz chocolate bar has about 50 grams of carbohydrates. Dark chocolate would have less, milk chocolate would have more. Thin crust pizza has about 20 grams of carbohydrates per slice, so there's 60, more if it's thick crust. Bread has about 15 grams of carbs per slice, so there's another 45 grams. A big plate of pasta is probably 75 grams of carbs. So, we're at 280 grams of carbs, without the fruit cup.

According to the US Department of Health and Human Services, healthy people should get between 45-65% of their calories from carbohydrates. 280 grams of carbs, at 4 calories/gram = 1120 calories from carbs. If you're on a 2,000 calorie diet, that's be in the acceptable range.

To compare, as a diabetic, my daily carb intake is usually between 85 and 160 grams.
