I have a lump underneath my left chin?!

Question: I have a lump underneath my left chin?

Its closer to the front of my mouth. Its only on the left side. I do use smokeless tobacco. (Dip) But i have no idea what it is. I asked on of my friends if he had it and he said no. I was just wondering if anyone else has this "lump" underneath there chin? It would really take wait off of my shoulders if it wasnt only me. Im worried its cancer. :(

Tobacco in all forms have been shown to increase the risk of cancer. If you are afraid that your number might be up, why do you continue to place yourself at risk?

It is not uncommon for a tooth to have a "stray root", that'll poke out in odd directions. If it gets bigger, starts to get inflamed, go to the doctor immediately. Otherwise, be sure to make a non-emergency visit and discuss it with a doctor. If you don't hear it from a professional, you will always wonder.
