MMR Vaccination side effects?!

First, ignore the deranged conspiracy theorist, whose paranoia is pathological.

This sounds like anxiety related. It's more to do with having the vaccine itself than whats in it. It is of no consequence.

It is unlikely that the sweats were directly caused by the vaccine. It is possible to have an allergic reaction, but this sounds more like a case of anxiety more than anything else. And I doubt it is a "common thing to happen." The doc was probably trying to put your brother at ease.

While fainting isn't common after vaccination, it can happen. The biggest worry is injury from a fall; so lying down was a safety measure.
