Hyperventilating and Dizziness?!

Question: Hyperventilating and Dizziness?
Over the past 3 days I have been getting really dizzy.
It started 3 days ago when I was at lunch and I was fine and laughing one moment and the next I couldn't breath. It felt like someone was choking me. I was hyperventilating gasping for air. This went on for about 30 to 45 minutes.
Around 10 minutes after I started hyperventilating I had to stand up to go to my next class. I got really dizzy. I could see straight but everything was fuzzy sorta like a dream like haze.
The next day I was dizzy all day and I actually fell a couple of times on the ground bc I could stand up without getting dizzy. And then at random times I would have to gasp for air.
My friend says its bc of me consuming too much sugar. But I havent had any more sugar than I usually have. So y would it happen all of a sudden now if it is that?
And if not can u tell me what is wrong with me?

My friends are really worried and I want to put their minds at ease acting like it's nothing but im scared too. But I don't wanna show it.

And I told my parents but only abPut the dizziness and nothing else. They are passing it off as dehydration.

PUHLEEZ help!!!

Answers:

I would call a doctor--it could just be nerves, but it also could be certain food or lack of sleep driving this.

No relevant advice but I would see a doctor and ask them about it. This is more the dizziness. There are viruses that may infect your inner ear that cause dizziness but breathing is very strange.

It makes me worry about blood clots in your lung of stroke. See a doctor since these can kill suddenly.
