Unsafe sex after clean for 2 years?!

Question: Unsafe sex after clean for 2 years?
Okay. So say you're getting checked and proven to be 'clean' then having *safe* sex regularly. Six months later, still clean. 1 year later still clean. Mind you, I'm talking about being with the same partner over this time. c:

Would it be worth the risk to have un-protected sex if you were both clean after this period?
(Gay in my case, but the gender / sexual orientation shouldn't matter)

Answers:

Just FYI--HIV and Herpes testing are not typically included in "standard" std testing. Unless you ask for them, you won't get them. And since many men are asymptomatic, you need to be sure that was included.

Also, genital warts (now implicated in throat and mouth cancers in gay men) are not always visible--but are contagious nonetheless. There is no test for HPV in men.

Both herpes and HPV can be transmitted strictly by skin-on-skin contact anywhere in the "boxer" are of the body--waist-thigh, front-back.

go for it. youre fine! if you know for sure you are both clean there is nothing to worry about:)
